Death Nell
Old Death Nell was a hardy lass.
She did 'em all then kicked their ass.
Fellers came and fellers went.
She rang their bells till they were spent.
She got the town Doc plenty of business,
with stuff that spread like burnin' witches.
Gunfights erupted and bottles got broken.
What money they'd saved got a real good soakin'.
All this happened a long time ago,
when sultry Miss Nell wuz the main town ho.
Now, tumbleweeds roll across the place
where tombstones stand by rusty gates.
Big buzzards will meet there on that hill
Over the graves of stiffs who wait there still.
